The Doctors for United Medical Missions (DrUMM) organization is proud to announce its partnership with the 2005 Marine Corps Marathon. This event is composed of two separate races: the popular 26.2 mile marathon and a shorter 8K race. Online registration through the Marine Corps Marathon web site for the marathon segment is now closed; however, DrUMM has reserved over 100 racing entries as a non-profit organization. (Participation in the 8K is open to the public.)

DrUMM is offering membership on its Marine Corps Marathon team as a fundraising effort. Each team member has a fundraising commitment, based on the race type that they are planning to run. The commitment for the marathon is $2000 and the 8K requires $1000. Typically, these funds are raised through petitioning family, friends, and associates for sponsorship. As a member of the Marine Corps Marathon DrUMM Team, race preparation, materials and team interaction are offered. Details are available upon acceptance into the DrUMM Team. You may submit your name for consideration in obtaining one of these marathon entries by completing the "Registration" and "Waiver and Release" forms below. You may then either mail or fax them to us, based on your payment method. Availability of these reserved entries is limited and certain to go quickly. Submit your forms today!

The "Sponsorship" form (below) is available for you to mail or fax to us, depending on your payment method. You may also sponsor a DrUMM Marine Corps Marathon Team runner using the online Donation page. If you choose to use the online method, please specify "Marine Corps Marathon" for the memo field and furnish the runner's name and code in the details field. Please note that sponsorship amounts are tax-deductible.
